Our unique Head-2-Head feature allows you to match up ANY two teams in ANY betting category for an at-a-glance guide to the best value markets.
Simply choose your teams, Home and Away, then match-up their statistics in the key areas – Form, Goals, Corners, Bookings and Scorers.
This will highlight both teams' recent league form, plus how many Goals, Corners and Bookings you can expect them to score AND concede. It will also guide you to the most likely Goal Scorers.
And the great advantage of comparing two teams' stats side by side, is that you can instantly identify where the best bets are – you might have two low scoring teams, or a near perfect match-up of figures (see Corners in the example below). Giving you an quick-fire guide to EVERY betting category in EVERY match.
For more specific advice on how to read the stats, section by section – plus a comprehensive list of all the bets usually available, go to How to Profit from Football Data.
The example below uses the actual data from Portsmouth v Wigan, from March 29th last season.
A seemingly middle of the road match, that wouldn't necessarily inspire much betting interest. But just by having access to our exclusive statistics, you could have landed no fewer than 8 winning bets!
You will have access to these stats for EVERY match. Look how easy it is to read them turn them into hard cash…
Portsmouth showed dominant possession stats (53% v 47%), slightly better current form and a much higher league position (6th v 13th).
Stats pointed to a Portsmouth win.
Portsmouth to win @ 4/6
Portsmouth 2 Wigan 0
Portsmouth's stats showed they scored an average of 1.5 Goals in every Home match, and conceded just 0.8 (of course, there's no such thing as 0.8 of a Goal, but it indicates 'less than a Goal'). Wigan scored an average of 0.6 Goals per match, but conceded 1.9.
73% of Portsmouth's matches produced Under 2.5 Goals (almost 3 out of 4), with 56% of Wigan's also going Under.
Matching up Portsmouth's Goals For and Wigan's Goals Against figures (1.5 v 1.9) indicated that Portsmouth looked likely to score at least 1, possibly 2 Goals. While Wigan's For v Portsmouth's Against figures (0.6 v 0.8) suggested Wigan might struggle to score any – certainly not more than 1.
Under 2.5 Goals at 10/11
Portsmouth 2 Wigan 0
Going into this match Portsmouth had won an average of 6.1 Corners per home match and allowed opponents to win 4.6. Wigan's Corners matched almost exactly in reverse – they won an average of 4.6, and conceded 5.4.
Both teams produced matches that had Under 10.5 Corners at least 60% of the time (Wigan slightly more often, with 63%).
The data suggested the total would go slightly Under the 10.5 marker. And considering Portsmouth's Possession and Goals dominance, they looked favourite to get more Corners than Wigan.
Bets Under 10.5 Corners @ 10/11, Portsmouth to get Most Corners @ 10/11, Portsmouth to get the First Corner @ 10/11
Portsmouth 5 Wigan 4 (Portsmouth First Corner)
Note: All Bookies use the same system – Yellow Card = 10 points, Red = 25.
The teams' data showed that Portsmouth received an average of 16.7 Booking Points (between 1 and 2 Yellow Cards) per match, with their opponents getting 20.7 (almost exactly 2 Yellows). Wigan had picked up 19.4 Booking Points (approximately 2 Yellow Cards), while their opponents got just 11.9 (just over 1 Yellow).
60% of Portsmouth's matches had gone Under 35 Booking Points, with an even bigger margin of Wigan's staying below the bookies marker (69%).
Both teams' stats matched-up well for an Under 35 Booking Points match. With Wigan looking likely to pick up more Booking Points/ Cards.
Under 35 Booking Points @ Evens, Wigan to get the Most Cards @ Evens
Portsmouth 10 (I Yellow) Wigan 20 (2 Yellows)
Portsmouth's Jermaine Defoe was clearly their top scorer and best candidate for the First and Anytime Goals Scorer markets. Marcus Bent was Wigan's top scorer, but taking into account their poor Goals record away from home, offered little value.
J. Defoe to Score at Anytime @ 7/4, J. Defoe to Score First @ 9/2
Defoe scored both goals
That's 8 winning bets that jump out, quickly and easily - purely from matching-up 2 teams' data side-by-side.
