Corners

We had several winners last season by backing 'low corners' in
games between the Premier League's top teams - and this could be
another good opportunity...

Take a look at the data on our website and you'll see over half of
Man Utd's home games - and 64% of Liverpool's away games - have
paid out on 'Under 10.5 Corners' or 'Under 11 Corners' bets this
season.

And both teams' average corners per game totals come out on the low
side, too (10.7 Man Utd and 8.8 Liverpool).

·         4 of Man Utd's last 5 games at Old Trafford have had 10 or
less corners

·         3 of Liverpool's last 5 away games have had 9 or less corners

So far this season, Man Utd have played 2 home games against the
teams in the top 6 places of the Premier League table - and both
went 'Under 10 Corners' (9 corners in the Chelsea game and 6 in the
Everton game).

Liverpool have made 4 trips to other 'top 6' teams so far - with
just one of them going 'Over 11 Corners.' There were only 6 corners
when Liverpool played at Chelsea, and just 4 in the Arsenal game.

  • When Liverpool played Man Utd earlier this season, there were
    9 corners in the game

Bets are available on 'Under 10' or 'Under 11 Corners' for
Saturday's game.

FBD says:

  • 'Under 10.5 Corners' @ 3/4 (1.75) with Expekt or 'Under 11
    Corners' @ 8/11 (1.73) with Stan James

Those bets pay out if there are 10 or less corners in the game.

Also available:
'Asian Total Corners - Under 10' @ 17/20 (1.85) with Bet365 pays
out on 9 or less corners, and gives you your money back if there
are exactly 10.

Goals

The pundits are calling this one a relegation '6-pointer' - Hull
are 4 points above the relegation zone and Newcastle are only above
the bottom 3 teams on Goal Difference. There's all to play for -
and the stats suggest there could be plenty of goals...

·         78% of Hull's home games have paid out on 'Over 2.5 Goals'
bets so far

·         71% of Newcastle's away games have also been 'Over 2.5 Goals'

The average goals per game stats on our website point to an 'Over'
bet here, too. Games at the KC Stadium are averaging 3.2 goals -
and Newcastle's away games figure is 2.6 goals.

  • Hull have the highest home 'Goals Against' figure in the
Premier League - 29 goals conceded in 14 games

In fact, pretty much all the info we look at highlights 'Over 2.5
Goals' here. There were 3 goals at Newcastle earlier in the season
when Hull won 2-1, and the recent form shapes up well...

  • 4 of the last 5 Hull home games have been 'Over 2.5 Goals'

And

  • 4 of the last 5 Newcastle away games have been 'Over 2.5
    Goals' too

With all that in mind, the bookies' odds of Evens (2.00) and above
for another 'Over 2.5 Goals' game tomorrow look good value.

FBD says:

  • 'Over 2.5 Goals' @ 11/10 (2.10) with Skybet or @ Evens (2.00)
with Stan James, Betfred, Blue Square and Boylesports

Stoke's away record is the worst in the Premier League - and
Everton are the big favourites to win this, at odds of 1/2 (1.50).

You can find yourself extra value on the 'home win' by taking a
closer look at the stats...

·         The only goal Everton have conceded in their last 5 league
games was a penalty - at Old Trafford

·         Everton have 'Won To Nil' in 4 of their last 5 Premier League
games at Goodison Park (the other game was a 1-1 draw with Arsenal)

·         Stoke have the worst away 'Goals Against' figure in the
Premier League - they've conceded 31 goals in 14 games

·         Everton have been winning at 'Half Time and Full Time' in 80%
of the home games that they've won. And Stoke have been losing at
'Half Time and Full Time' in 70% of the away games that they've
lost

·         75% of all Everton's wins this season have been 'Won To Nil'

The Everton win is 1/2 with most bookies. And you can get twice
that price in two other markets...

Everton are 6/5 (2.20) 'To Win To Nil' against Stoke on Saturday,
and 5/4 (2.25) to be winning at 'Half Time and Full Time'.

And finally - here's a double for two games that our Head-2-Head
stats have highlighted as good 'low Goals' match-ups this
weekend...

A 6/4 'low Goals' double

Sunderland v Wigan
57% of both teams' games have been 'Under 2.5 Goals' this season,
and both teams have average match totals of just '2 goals'. The
recent form is excellent - 4 of the last 5 Sunderland home games
AND Wigan away games have all seen 2 or less goals scored. The
bookies make 'Under 2.5 Goals' a clear favourite at just 4/7
(1.57).

Bolton v Fulham
64% of Bolton's home games have gone 'Under 2.5 Goals' so far - and
a whopping 78% of Fulham's away games have paid out on that bet,
too. Both teams' games are averaging 2 or less total goals - and 3
of both teams' last 5 games (home / away) have had 2 or less goals.
'Under 2.5 Goals' is available at 8/13 (1.62).

Both those 'Under 2.5 Goals' odds are pretty short prices - but are
well supported by the stats...

And you can get odds of around 6/4 (2.50) for the double with
Betfred, Stan James and Skybet. Check here for the best odds on
each game:

http://odds.sportsbettingxtra.co.uk/football/england/premier-league/

Good luck with all your bets this weekend. I'll write to you again
on Monday with the latest results, and a look at the live Monday
night game between West Ham and West Brom...

Best wishes,

Matt Nesbitt
