It was another action-packed weekend in the Premier League...

Big results for the Big 4

Liverpool put 4 goals past Man Utd at Old Trafford (Man Utd had
only let in 5 goals at home all season before Saturday!). And
Arsenal ended their run of 3 games without a home goal, thumping
Blackburn 4-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

Chelsea won 1-0 for the third time in their last 4 Premier League
games. In fact, since Guus Hiddink took over as temporary manager
of the Blues, they've won 4 out of 7 games in all competitions by a
1-0 'Correct Score.' That's a trend we'll be keeping an eye on -
paying out at 6/1+ with the bookies.

Odds cut on Ronaldo...

Cristiano Ronaldo scored again for Man Utd at the weekend. That
takes him to 13 league goals for the season, just 2 behind
Chelsea's Nicolas Anelka...

Back on 28th January we recommended a bet on Ronaldo to be the
Premier League's Top Scorer at 3/1 (4.00). He's now a best price of
just 7/4 (2.75), the joint-favourite along with Anelka.

Last week's results

We had 2 recommended bets in Friday's email - but unfortunately
they both lost.

Man Utd 1 Liverpool 4

Corners = 13

FBD said: 'Under 11 Corners' @ 8/11 - LOST

Hull 1 Newcastle 1

Total Goals = 2

FBD said: 'Over 2.5 Goals' @ 11/10 - LOST

I've got to say those results took me by surprise. The Man Utd v
Liverpool game was a bit of a 'shock' all round, with not only the
Corners going 'high' but also the home team getting the most
Booking Points - and not forgetting that that was Man Utd's biggest
home defeat since 1992.

In the Hull v Newcastle game, there were 2 goals before half time -
but that vital third goal never came.

Stick with the stats...

We only highlight bets that are well-supported by the stats and
backed up by all our research. This method has proved consistently
profitable all season (and last season, too). But of course,
sometimes bets are going to go down, no matter how much the stats
suggest they 'shouldn't.' The main thing is to make money overall -
and that's done by following the best bets, based on all the data
available, each and every week.

Our next bet is for tonight's game - West Ham v West Brom, live on
Setanta Sports at 8pm. See below for our analysis.

bets on ANY Premier League game...

Our stats are updated after every round of games and cover all the
top betting markets for ALL 20 teams.

Bet-specific info - at the click of a button...

Our data doesn't just tell you how many Goals, Corners or Booking
Points a team gets - it tells you exactly how many times the BETS

season.

Powerful info - that gives you an at-a-glance guide to the most
reliable bets in the Premier League.

There are also division averages to give you a clear idea of how
strong - or how weak - a particular team's stats really are...

  • For example, take a look at Fulham's Booking Points stats. An
incredible 93% of their away games have paid out on 'Under 35.5
Booking Points' bets this season - way, way above the division
    average of 57%.

- a high 85% of West Ham home games and 78% of West Brom away games
have paid out on that bet this season.

The 'Over 10.5' bet is only available with one bookie tonight
(Expekt) - and at odds of just 8/15 (1.53). However, some of the
top bookies are offering bets on 'Over 11 Corners' - and both teams'
stats suggest they can land that bet, too...

West Ham Home Corner Averages 2008/9

Against: 6.4
Total Average: 12.9 Corners per game

West Brom Away Corner Averages 2008/9

or more corners in 11 of those games. The same goes for West Brom
away - with 11 out of 14 games paying out on 'Over 11 Corners'
bets.

·         78% of West Ham's home games have been 'Over 11 Corners'

·         78% of West Brom's away games have been 'Over 11 Corners'

The recent form also leads us to another 'Over' bet tonight. With
the most recent first, here are the 'Total Corners' from West Ham's
last 5 home games: 11, 16, 16, 6 and 12.

And here are the 'Total Corners' from the last 5 away games that
West Brom have played: 9, 16, 14, 17 and 12.

Stan James, Blue Square, Partybets and Skybet are all offering
'Over 11 Corners' bets for tonight's game...

FBD says:
