The Premier League takes a break for International games this
weekend - so now is a good time to look at some of the 'top trends'
from the season so far...

Top Premier League Stats 2008/9

I've had my head in the stats all week, and dug up some great
figures - showing some of the most profitable and reliable 'cash
cows' in the league. Today we're looking at 'Match Results' and the
teams with the highest 'win, lose or draw' percentages.

Plus, don't miss our special feature on 'Correct Scores' - a market
that offers some of the biggest odds available.

On Monday, I'll write to you with our top performing 'Under' and
'Over' teams in the Goals, Booking Points and Corners categories.
Along with moneymaking info on Referees and Top Scorers!

WIN PERCENTAGES:

Total Wins

Man Utd

20 wins from 29 games

68.9%

Home Wins

Man Utd

12 wins from 14 home games

85.7%

Away Wins

Chelsea

10 wins from 15 away games

66.7%

Aston Villa

10 wins from 15 away games

66.7%

  • Stoke are the only team not to have won an away game

It's no surprise to see league leaders Man Utd top of the tree when
it comes to overall wins and home wins, but you'd have got better
odds - and made more money - backing Chelsea and Aston Villa away
so far. Watch out though - the majority of those Chelsea and Villa
away wins were achieved in the first half of the season.

DRAW PERCENTAGES:

Total Draws

Newcastle

11 drawn games out of 30

36.7%

Home Draws

Aston Villa

7 drawn home games out of 15

46.7%

Middlesbrough

7 drawn home games out of 15

46.7%

Away Draws

Fulham

7 drawn away games out of 15

46.7%

·         Man City haven't drawn any of their 15 home games

·         Aston Villa haven't drawn any of their 15 away games

With the 'Draw' available at odds of 9/4 (3.25) or more in most
games, those stats can point you to some good value winners.

Aston Villa have 'Jekyll and Hyde' figures here: they've drawn
almost half of their home games - but haven't drawn any away games.

LOSS PERCENTAGES:

Total Defeats

West Brom

lost 18 out of 30 games

60.0%

Home Defeats

Hull

lost 8 out of 15 home games

53.0%

Away Defeats

Stoke

lost 11 out of 15 away games

73.3%

Middlesbrough

lost 11 out of 15 away games

73.3%

West Brom

lost 11 out of 15 away games

73.3%

  • Liverpool have lost the least amount of games - just 2
defeats from 30 games. They are the only team with an 'unbeaten'
    home record.

West Brom have lost the most games - and they're bottom of the
Premier League. Along with Stoke and Middlesbrough, West Brom have
been a profitable team to oppose in away games.
