There looks to be a good value bet on offer here...

Booking Points

Blackburn and Tottenham are evenly matched on the Booking Points
and First Card stats. But as the home team, Blackburn's stats are
more significant - and we can get better odds on them. For example,
both teams have a First Card average of 60%. However, that 'home'
figure for Blackburn is a good deal higher than the Premier League
home average of 40% (the away average is 55%).

Here are both teams' Bookings stats:

·         Blackburn - Most Booking Points in 8 out of 15 home games
(53%)

·         Tottenham's opponents - most Booking Points in 53% of their
away games

Blackburn are 2/1 (3.00) to get the Most Bookings Points on
Saturday - and Tottenham are Evens (2.00).

FootballBettingData.co.uk figures:

Blackburn home
Booking Pts For = 18.0
Booking Pts Against = 15.7

Tottenham away
Booking Pts For = 24.0
Booking Pts Against = 23.7

First Card percentages:

Blackburn home = 60% First Card (9 out of 15 games)
Tottenham away = 60% First Card (9 out of 15 games)

In their last 3 home games - Blackburn have got the Most Booking
Points AND the First Card
(in the last 3 Tottenham away games, the
home team got the Most Booking Points twice and the First Card
once).

KEY DATA:

Blackburn have got the Most Booking Points in 4 of their last 5
Premier League games - and they've got the First Card in all of
their last 5 games.

Tottenham have only got the Most Booking Points in 1 of their last
5 Premier League games. And they've got the First Card twice.

The bookies make Tottenham favourite to get the Most Booking Points
and the First Card on Saturday. But the stats and the recent form
show Blackburn are the team to back.

FBD says:

  • Blackburn to get the 'Most Booking Points' @ 2/1 (3.00) with
William Hill or 7/4 (2.75) with Skybet

Also - have a saver bet (approx. 25% of your main stake) on the
Booking Points 'Tie' @ 3/1 (4.00) with Skybet or 5/2 (3.50) with
William Hill.

The Booking Points stats catch the eye here...

Booking Points

The data on our website shows that two thirds of both teams' games
have paid out on 'Under 35.5 Booking Points' and 'Under 3.5 Cards'
bets so far this season...

·         66.7% of Bolton home games Under 35.5 Booking Points

·         66.7% of Middlesbrough away games Under 35 Booking Points

Bolton's home averages are 12.0 Booking Points For and 15.3
Against, making an average total of 27.3 points per game.

Middlesbrough away average 16.0 points For and 14.0 Against, for a
total of 30.0 points per game.

Recent results point to another 'low' game on Saturday - 4 of the
last 5
Bolton home games have had 2 or less yellow cards in them
(20 or less Booking Points). And in their most recent home game (v
Fulham), there were no cards at all.

There have been 2 or less yellow cards in 3 of the last 5
Middlesbrough away games.

KEY DATA:

Alan Wiley is the Referee for this game. He is averaging 2.81 cards
per game
in the Premier League this season, and 66.7% of the games
Wiley has been in charge of have paid out a winner on 'Under 35.5
Booking Points' and 'Under 3.5 Cards'
bets.

This game is not live on TV - but Bet365, Coral and Partybets are
all offering Cards or Booking Points markets. You can bet 'Under
3.5 Cards' at Bet365 - a bet that has paid out in two thirds of
Bolton's home games, Middlesbrough's away games AND the Referee's
games so far this season.

FBD says:

  • 'Asian Total Cards - Under 3.5' @ 9/10 (1.90) with Bet365 or
    'Under 3.5 Cards' @ 5/6 (1.83) with Bet365

After a recent run of 4 goalless draws in a row, Arsenal have won
their last 3 Premier League games in a row...

Match Result

Arsenal's home record is 'won 8, drawn 5 and lost 2.' Man City have
only won 1 away game so far. Their away record is 'won 1, drawn 5
and lost 9.'

Arsenal are yet to concede a goal at home in the Premier League in
2009. They have kept 6 Clean Sheets in a row at home - and
Liverpool were the last team to score at the Emirates Stadium, back
in December.

KEY DATA:

Man City have only scored 1 goal in their last 5 away games. And
they have lost 4 of those 5 games 'To Nil.'

The stats highlight Arsenal 'To Win To Nil' as a good option
here...

·         6 out of 8 Arsenal home wins have been 'To Nil' - 75%

·         6 out of 9 Man City away defeats have been 'To Nil' - 66.7%

Arsenal are just 4/7 (1.57) to win on Saturday. Backing them 'To
Win To Nil' at 6/4 (2.50) looks much better value.

FBD says:

  • Arsenal 'To Win To Nil' @ 6/4 (2.50) with Blue Square and 888
Sport or 11/8 (2.38) with Skybet and Paddy Power

And finally - two Goalscorers to look out for this weekend...

CRISTIANO RONALDO - Manchester Utd v Aston Villa

Man Utd will be without strikers Wayne Rooney (suspended) and
Dimitar Berbatov (injured) for this game...

Cristiano Ronaldo is available though - and he is the Premier
League's second-top scorer with 13 goals this season. Ronaldo has
scored 11 goals in 14 home games. And as the data on our website
shows, he has been the 'First Goalscorer' in 6 of those games.

Ronaldo has scored in 3 of the last 4 league games at Old Trafford,
including the most recent game (v Liverpool). And he is also Man
Utd's chief free kick and penalty taker. Ronaldo has scored 5 goals
in Man Utd's last 7 games against Aston Villa.

  • Ronaldo is 11/8 (2.38) in the 'Anytime Scorer' market at Stan
James. And a best price of 9/2 (5.50) with Bet365 to be the 'First
    Goalscorer.'

You can find the best odds on those markets here:

http://odds.sportsbettingxtra.co.uk/football/england/premier-league/

PETER CROUCH - Hull v Portsmouth

Portsmouth have scored 3 goals in their last 3 games - and Peter
Crouch
has scored all of them.

Crouch has 17 goals in 2008/9 overall, with 11 of them in the
Premier League - putting him in the Top 5 scorers this season. He
also scored for England in the week.

Crouch was the 'First Goalscorer' when Portsmouth drew 2-2 with
this weekend's opponents, Hull, earlier in the season.

  • Crouch is 9/4 (3.25) with Coral to score 'Anytime.' And he is
7/1 (8.00) with Ladbrokes and Coral to be the 'First Goalscorer.'

You can find the best odds on those markets here:

http://odds.sportsbettingxtra.co.uk/football/england/premier-league/
