It was an action-packed Easter weekend in the Premier League, with 40
goals scored across the 10 games!

From our recommended bets in Thursday’s email we landed 4 out of 7
winners. Our ‘low cards and bookings’ data came up trumps – there was just
one yellow card shown in total across the TWO games we highlighted,
Chelsea v Bolton and Man City v Fulham.

Easter weekend results – 4 winners, 3 losers

Here are our results from the weekend…

Liverpool 4 Blackburn 0

‘Over 2.5 Goals’ @ Evens – WON

Liverpool were just 3/10 (1.30) to win this game – but the stats
highlighted Over 2.5 Goals @ Evens (2.00) as the better value bet. That
came in, with Liverpool scoring all 4 goals.

Portsmouth 2 West Brom 2

Total Corners = 6

FBD said:

‘Over 10.5 Corners’ (available @ 1/2 with Expekt) – LOST

Both teams’ season-long stats pointed to a ‘high corners’ game here, but
there were just 6 corner kicks on the day.

Chelsea 4 Bolton 3

Corners = Chelsea 8 Bolton 3

Total Cards = None
Total Booking Points = 0

Chelsea ‘-3’ or ‘-4 Corner Handicap’ (‘-4’ available @ 11/10 with Skybet)
- WON

‘Under 3.5 Cards’ (available @ 8/13 with Bet365) – WON

Chelsea remain the most reliable home corner winner in the Premier
League. They have now won the most corners in 15 out of 16 games at
Stamford Bridge this season (93%). The best Corner Handicap on offer was
Chelsea ‘-4’ @ 11/10 (2.10) with Skybet – and Chelsea covered that.

There were NO cards or Bookings Points in the game, so all available
‘Under’ bets won. Bet365 had Under 3.5 Cards @ 8/13 (1.62).

Middlesbrough 3 Hull 1

FBD said:

‘Under 2.5 Goals’ @ 8/13 – LOST

Middlesbrough scored 3 goals in a game for the first time this season.
Before Saturday, 9 of the last 10 Middlesbrough home games had been Under
2.5 Goals.

Stoke 1 Newcastle 1

Total Corners = 12

FBD said:

‘Under 10.5 Corners’ or ‘Under 11 Corners’ (‘Under 11’ available @ 10/11
with Stan James) - LOST

A near miss on our ‘Under’ bet here – there were 12 corners in the game.

Man City 1 Fulham 3

Total Cards = 1 yellow
Total Booking Points = 10 pts

Look to bet ‘Under 3.5 Cards’ or ‘30 Or Less’ Booking Points (bets
available @ 7/4 and 5/4 with Skybet) – WON

The bookies set their line very low for this one – but any ‘Under’ bet
you placed would’ve paid out a winner. Skybet offered ‘Under 15 Booking
Points’ @ 7/4 and ‘15-35 Booking Points’ @ 5/4, and they were the best
available options to cover a total of 35 or less Booking Points.

Bet365 offered ‘Under 2.5 Cards’ @ 4/5 and other bookies offered Evens+
for ‘20 Or Less’ Booking Points.

There were just 10 points in the game (1 yellow card) – so all ‘Under’
bets were winners.

Fulham remain the best ‘low cards and bookings’ team in the Premier
League – with 93% of away games having 35 or less Booking Points. And
this was also another ‘Under’ game for the Referee, Mark Halsey – 90% of
the Premier League games he has refereed have had 35 or less Booking
Points (18 out of 20 games).

The Premier League continues this weekend with 5 games on Saturday and 2
on Sunday. Followed by midweek games next Tuesday and Wednesday night.

I’ll write to you on Friday with our next set of recommended bets…

Best wishes,

Matt Nesbitt
