In your FBD update today:

  • Stoke's 89% home win record...
  • Last week's results...
  • This week's games - Liverpool v Arsenal tomorrow

After the Easter goal-fest, the games were a lot tighter last
weekend...

In fact, 6 of the 7 games played went 'Under 2.5 Goals.' Including
the Portsmouth v Bolton game - that we had down as an 'Over'
opportunity. Stoke's home stats held up well for us though...

Not only did Stoke beat Blackburn to land a home win in the 'Draw
No Bet'
market - they won by exactly 1 goal. A 'Winning Margin' bet
that paid out at 3/1 with the bookies.

  • Stoke have now won 9 home games this season - and 8 of them
    by a 1-goal 'Winning Margin' (89%)

There are 3 more games on Tuesday and Wednesday this week as the
'Big 4' of Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal catch up with
their fixtures after the FA Cup semi finals. See below for more on
those games.

Last week's results

Aston Villa 1 West Ham 1

Corners = Villa 12, West Ham 11

FBD said:
'Asian Handicap Corners: Aston Villa -3' @ 4/5 - LOST

This bet was on course to win until the last 5 minutes of the game
- when a late rally from West Ham saw them score an equalising goal
and win 4 corners.

Portsmouth 1 Bolton 0

FBD said:
'Over 2.5 Goals' @ Evens - LOST

Bolton have been involved in several 'high goals' games recently,
but they couldn't find the back of the net in this one.

Stoke 1 Blackburn 0

FBD said:
Stoke '0 Asian Handicap' @ 1.70 - WON

Stoke kept up their strong record at the Britannia Stadium with
their 4th win from their last 6 home games.

As well as our recommended 'Draw No Bet' winner, the Stoke win paid
out at 7/5 (2.40). And our 'Key Data' in Friday's email highlighted
Stoke's record of 7 out of 8 home wins by a 1-goal 'Winning Margin'
- that bet was 3/1 with Blue Square.

Tottenham 1 Newcastle 0

Booking Points = Tottenham 10, Newcastle 10

FBD said:
Newcastle to win the 'Booking Points Match Bet' @ 5/6 - LOST

There was a Booking Points 'tie' here - with both teams getting 1
yellow card (10 pts) each. Tottenham have still only got the most
Booking Points in 1 home game this season (out of 17 played).

Also in this game...

Mark Halsey was the Referee for Tottenham v Newcastle on Sunday,
and he took charge of yet ANOTHER 'low Bookings' game (20 pts).

Halsey has now refereed 21 games and 19 of them have paid out on
'Under 35.5 Booking Points' and 'Under 3.5 Cards' - that's an
incredible 90% strike rate.

This week's Premier League games...

There are 3 midweek games:

Wednesday 8pm

I'll write to you on Wednesday with a look at that night's two
games - there look to be some good match-ups on the stats.

But first of all, a quick look at our key data for tomorrow night's
game at Anfield...

Liverpool v Arsenal

Match odds:

Liverpool

Draw

Arsenal

10/11

5/2

4/1

·         Arsenal and Liverpool are 1 and 2 at the top of the Premier
League's 'Form Guide' table - that takes into account the last 6
games home and away

·         3 of the last 4 games between Liverpool and Arsenal (in all
competitions) have been 1-1 draws - including the Premier League
game at the Emirates Stadium earlier this season

·         Arsenal have drawn 5 away games this season - and 3 of them
have been a 1-1 scoreline

·         Liverpool and Arsenal have both drawn 10 Premier League games
this season - only Fulham (11) and Newcastle (12) have drawn more
games

·         Liverpool are unbeaten against their fellow 'Big 4' teams in the
Premier League so far this season - but so are Arsenal

Liverpool will be looking for a win to go back ahead of Man Utd at
the top of the table and keep themselves right in the title race.
However, Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 19 Premier League
games...

With the stats above in mind, the value bet here could be the Draw
at 5/2. And the 1-1 Correct Score is available at 6/1.
