Standout stats for Man City v West Ham tonight

Monday 28th September 2009

There were 33 goals scored in the 9 Premier League games at the
weekend with Tottenham scoring 5 at home against Burnley and
Liverpool putting 6 past Hull.

Lack of draws!

So far this season only 4 out of 65 Premier League games have ended
in a draw - none of the 9 games played at the weekend ended level.

Results - Spurs, Liverpool and Wolves maintain their 100% records

Here's what happened in the 4 games we previewed on Friday...

Portsmouth 0 Everton 1

Booking Points = Portsmouth 0 Everton 30

FBD said:

  • Portsmouth to get the 'Most Booking Points' @ 11/8 - LOST

Everton received 3 Yellow Cards at Fratton Park on Saturday all of
them coming in the last 10 minutes of the game.

It does mean that 5 out of Portsmouth's 7 games so far this season
have gone Under 3.5 Cards and 6 out of Everton's 7 games have gone
'Under' the bookies' marker.

Tottenham 5 Burnley 0

Total Goals = 5

FBD said:

  • 'Quatro' market: 'Tottenham to win with 3 or more goals
scored in the match' @ Evens - WON

All 7 of Tottenham's games this season have gone Over 2.5 Goals.
Robbie Keane is the 3rd Tottenham forward to score a hat-trick for
this season, following in the footsteps of Jermaine Defoe away at
Hull and Peter Crouch against Preston in the Carling Cup.

Liverpool 6 Hull 1

Total Corners = 15

FBD said:

  • Over 11.5 Corners @ Evens - WON

All 4 of Liverpool's home games - and 6 from 7 games overall - have
been Over 10.5 Corners this season. And 6 out of Hull's 7 games
have now gone Over 10.5 Corners.

  • All 7 of Liverpool's games this season have gone Over 2.5
    Goals.

Sunderland 5 Wolves 2

First Goal Time = 8 minutes

FBD said:

  • 'Time of First Goal' - 'Before 31st minute' @ 5/6 - WON

Darren Bent's penalty in the 8th minute gave Sunderland an early
lead at the Stadium of Light. In 6 out of 7 Sunderland games this
season the First Goal has come Before 27th Minute and in all 7 of
Wolves' games the First Goal has come Before 27th Minute.

In Friday's email we also mentioned Darren Bent @ 9/2 to be the
First Goalscorer. Bent has now scored the First Goal in 3 out of 4
Sunderland home games and now has 6 goals this season.

Two of our picks in Paddy Power's Top Scorer Handicap market have
started of the season in fine form.

Keane and Bent off to good starts...

You could get Tottenham's Robbie Keane and Sunderland's Darren Bent
with very healthy handicaps of +12.5 goals and +11 goals
respectively.

The man they effectively have to beat is the current leading scorer
Fernando Torres who started on a scratch (zero) handicap. The
Spanish striker has 8 goals to his name so far this season.

Darren Bent's brace against Wolves has moved up onto 6 with Keane's
4 against Burnley moving him up into contention with 5.

Handicap charts!

If you want to boost your odds on tonight's game you should
consider placing a Double on Man City to win and for there to be
'Over 11 Corners' in the game at around 13/8 with Bet365.

City have won 4 out of their 5 games so far this season. They have
won both of their games at home this season - visitors West Ham
have lost 3 of their 5 games so far this term.

There's 10 more Premier League games coming up this weekend
including Chelsea against Liverpool next Sunday. I'll be back in
