In your FBD update today:

  • The Premier League is back next week...

There are no Premier League games this week - players are off on
International duty for the World Cup Qualifiers. So before the
action gets back underway next weekend we'll take a look at the best
bets to be keeping an eye on for each team...

Plus - something for the weekend - check out England's goals stats.
Fabio Capello's boys are up against Ukraine tomorrow.

Premier League - Top trends so far...

Here are some of our 'top trends' so far - bets that are paying out
most often for each team. Today I'm looking at one half of the
Premier League - from Arsenal to Hull - and we'll look at the
remaining 10 teams next week.

There's a fifth of the season gone and already some strong form is
on show - look out in particular for Arsenal and Chelsea's 100%
records...

Arsenal
100%
of home games have been Over 2.5 Goals, and 6 out of 7 games
overall have paid out on Over 2.5 Goals bets.
Next game: home v Birmingham next weekend.

Aston Villa
4 out of 4 home games gone Under 2.5 Goals.
Next game: home v Chelsea.

Birmingham
Birmingham have got the First Card in all 4 of their away games so
far.
Next game: away v Arsenal.

Blackburn
Blackburn's 3 away games to date have all paid out on these 3 bets -
Over 2.5 Goals, Under 11 Corners and Under 3.5 Cards / Under 35.5
Booking Points
.
Next game: home v Burnley.

Bolton
85%
of all games have gone Over 10.5 Corners so far (6 games out of
7).
Next game: away v Man Utd.

Burnley
Bets on Under 3.5 Cards and Under 35.5 Booking Points have paid out
in 7 out of 8 Burnley Premier League games.
Next game: away v Blackburn.

Chelsea
The league leaders have a 100% record for Over 10.5 Corners games so
far - 8 out of 8 games have had 11 or more corners.
Next game: away to Aston Villa.

Everton
In 71% of Everton games, there have been Under 3.5 Cards and Under
35.5 Booking Points.

Next game: home v Wolves.

Fulham
Have only won the Most Corners in one out of 7 games so far. On
average, Fulham are conceding 2 corners more than they win. Bets on
Fulham's opponents with a '-1 Corner Handicap' would've paid out in
71% of games.
Next game: home v Hull.

Hull
In 4 out of 4 away games so far, a Hull player has been shown the
First Card.
Next game: away v Fulham.

I'll go through the stats for the remaining 10 teams - from
Liverpool to Wolves - when I write to you next week.

Check out England's 'high goals' stats!

England are playing away against Ukraine on Saturday evening (5pm
kick off, live 'on the internet'). Here at FBD we focus on league
football, but I'm not one to let a 'good stat' pass me by - take a
look at these goals stats from the World Cup Qualifiers...

Ukraine v England

England have already booked their place in South Africa next year
after winning 8 out of 8 games in Group 6. Ukraine still have a chance
to qualify if they can leapfrog Croatia to finish 2nd in the Group.

  • 7 out of 8 England Qualifying games have gone Over 2.5 Goals -
in fact the last 7 in a row have all paid out on that bet.

  • Including England's Friendly results, the stat is '11 out of
    12'
    for Over 2.5 Goals - a 92% trend

  • England's Qualifying games have averaged a total of 4.5 goals
    per game.

  • England have scored 31 Goals For in Qualifying - more than any
other team in the European Groups.

  • Ukraine's Qualifying games have averaged 2.5 goals per game

England don't need a result from this game, so I wouldn't go
recommending any big bets here. Purely on the stats the Over 2.5
Goals
option stands out, and that's available at 5/4 (2.25) across
the board.

World Cup Qualification games here...
