Tuesday 13th October
In your FBD update today:
- Tottenham and Wolves' 100% records...
- Discover the 'top trends' for every team in the Premier
League...
- England v Belarus - on 'normal' TV!
The Premier League stars are still off on International duty - it's
the final round of World Cup Qualifying games midweek. And then
we're straight back to business at the weekend with a full set of
league games, with 4 of them live on TV.
I'll be writing to you as normal on Friday with our full weekend
preview - and to get you started, take a look at some more of the
'top trends' paying out in the Premier League so far in 2009/10...
Premier League - Top trends continued...
On Friday I listed the 'top trends' - the bets paying out most often
on each team - from Arsenal through to Hull. You can view that email
(9th Oct) on the Results Archive page at our website.
Now it's time to look at the remaining 10 teams, from Liverpool to
Wolves. Keep an eye out in particular for 100% records - bets that
have paid out in 8 games out of 8 - for Spurs and Wolves...
Liverpool
Bets on 'high' Goals and Corners have paid out in the majority of
Liverpool games so far - 7 out of 8 games have paid out on Over 2.5
Goals bets, and the same amount - 87.5% - have also gone Over 10.5
Corners.
Next game: away v Sunderland.
Man Utd
75% of games have had 11 or more Corners so far. That includes 4 out
of 4 games at Old Trafford where bets on Over 10.5 Corners have paid
out a winner.
Next game: home v Bolton.
Man City
City games are also seeing plenty of corner kicks. Bets on Over 10.5
Corners have paid out in 85% of all games - 6 times out of 7. City
games are averaging a total of 12.7 corners per game.
Next game: away v Wigan.
Portsmouth
The 'obvious' stat here is Portsmouth's form - they've lost 7 games
out of 8 and are bottom of the Premier League. It's also worth
knowing 75% of Portsmouth games to date have gone Over 10.5 Corners
and Under 3.5 Cards / Under 35.5 Booking Points.
Next game: home v Tottenham.
Stoke
Bets on Under 2.5 Goals are paying out a winner in 75% of Stoke
games right now - and games are averaging 2.0 total goals.
Next game: home v West Ham.
Sunderland
Sunderland games are averaging a high 3.6 goals per game so far,
with bets on Over 2.5 Goals paying out in 75% of all games - and
100% at the Stadium of Light (4 out of 4). And a player to watch for
Goalscorer bets - Darren Bent has scored in 6 out of 8 games, and
has been the First Scorer on 5 occasions.
Next game: home v Liverpool.
Tottenham
A perfect 100% record for Over 2.5 Goals games from Spurs - 8 games
out of 8 - and an average of 3.9 total goals per game.
Next game: away v Portsmouth.
West Ham
71% of games have been Over 10.5 Corners so far. That includes 3
from 4 away games that have had at least 12 corners.
Next game: away v Stoke.
Wigan
Wigan have only won the Most Corners once in 8 attempts (12.5%). On
average, they are conceding 2 corners per game more than they win.
And they haven't won the most corners in any of their 4 games at the
DW Stadium.
Next game: home v Man City.
Wolves
Check out this 100% trend - 8 out of 8 Wolves games have paid out on
Time of First Goal 'Before 27th Minute' bets. And their average
First Goal Time figure is just 14 minutes - the lowest in the
Premier League.
Next game: away v Everton.

Just one goal in Ukraine...
A quick note on the England 'high goals' stat I mentioned in
Friday's email. Until Saturday night, 7 out of 8 World Cup
Qualification games had gone Over 2.5 Goals - and England are the
highest scorers out of all the European qualification Groups.
England had also won 8 games out of 8 before their trip to Ukraine -
but the formbook went out the window at the weekend. Especially
after England were reduced to 10 men after just 14 minutes. 'Keeper
Robert Green was sent off - but Shevchenko hit the post with his
penalty kick. Final score 1-0 Ukraine.
England round off their successful South Africa 2010 Qualification
campaign with a home game against Belarus at Wembley on Wednesday
night...
England are already safe as Group winners - Belarus can't qualify,
and will finish 4th in Group 6 whatever happens this week. Last time
the teams met it was 3-1 to England.
- Bookies were offering odds of 11/10 (2.10) for Over 2.5 Goals
at the weekend. For Wednesday's game v Belarus, the best you can
find is just 4/9 (1.44).

Live games this week...
England fans had to watch the game on the internet at the weekend.
But things are back to normal this week with England v Belarus live
on ITV1 on Wednesday night.
Elsewhere you'll find Republic of Ireland v Montenegro on Sky Sports
2, Liechtenstein v Wales on S4C - and Czech Rep v Northern Ireland
is on the BBC N.Ireland service.
I'll be turning my attentions to the 4 live Premier League games at
the weekend, starting with Aston Villa v Chelsea on Saturday
lunchtime. Look out for your bets for the weekend in Friday's
email...
Until then,
