In your FBD weekend preview today:

  • Back the Top 3 on the Corner Handicap...
  • Bets for Saturday's live Premier League games...
  • Cash-in on the stats with a 3/1 treble...

The weekend kicks off with a bang with the North London derby on
Saturday lunchtime...

Arsenal take on rivals Tottenham at the Emirates. This fixture
produced a thrilling 4-4 draw last season - let's hope for another
'Thriller' this Halloween weekend!

Read on for our top bet on that one, plus bets on 4 other Premier
League games - and a 3/1 Treble on the Goals stats.

  • The bookies have been very slow putting up their markets for
the weekend's games. I'll email you again this afternoon when more
prices are up, with more info on where to place our recommended
    bets.

Arsenal v Tottenham

Sat 31st Oct, 12.45pm
Live on Sky Sports 1
Ref: M.Clattenburg

Match odds:

Arsenal

Draw

Tottenham

8/13

3/1

5/1

Form Guide

Both teams are neck and neck on 19 pts going in to this derby -
Arsenal are 3rd with a game in hand on 4th-placed Spurs. Arsenal
have won 4 out of 4 games at the Emirates Stadium so far - league
leaders Chelsea are the only other team with a 100% home record.

The Gunners are joint-top of the Premier League's 'Form Guide'
table with Man Utd, having won 4 of their last 6 games. Spurs are
just 14th in that recent form table with just 2 wins from their
last 6 games - and they were shocked last time out by a 1-0 home
defeat to Stoke.

Total Goals

As I mentioned in my 'Top Trends' report earlier in this week, bets
on Arsenal and Tottenham games going Over 2.5 Goals have paid out
in the vast majority of games so far this season - 89% of all
Arsenal games and 90% of Spurs games have gone Over 2.5 Goals.

  • Over 2.5 Goals is 4/7 (1.57) with the bookies this weekend

Corners

The Corners stats point to a bet on the home team here...

·         Arsenal have won the Most Corners in 8 out of 9 games this
season - including all 4 games at the Emirates Stadium

·         Arsenal home corners averages = 7.3 Corners For and 3.0
Corners Against

Spurs on the other hand are conceding more corners than they win.

·         Tottenham have only won the Most Corners once in 5 away games

·         Tottenham away corners averages = 6.0 Corners For and 7.2
Corners Against

Arsenal won the Most Corners in an impressive 17 out of 19 home
games (89%) last season, by an average margin of +5.4 corners,
while Spurs' away margin was -1.3 corners.

  • Arsenal also came out on top on the corner count in both
games against Tottenham last season - 'out-cornering' Spurs 6-4
    away and 9-1 at home.

Bets on Arsenal with a '-2.5 Corner Handicap' will pay out if they
win at least 3 corners more than Tottenham on Saturday - something
their stats say they are more than capable of doing.

FBD says:

  • Arsenal '-2.5 Corner Handicap' @ 5/6 (1.83) with William Hill

Man Utd v Blackburn Rovers

Sat 31st Oct, 5.30pm
Live on ESPN
Ref: P.Dowd

Match odds:

Man Utd

Draw

Blackburn

1/6

6/1

18/1

Form Guide

Man Utd are 2nd in the Premier League and have won 4 and drawn 1 at
home so far. Blackburn have lost 4 out of 4 away games, were
hammered 5-0 at Chelsea last week - and have players out with swine
flu.

Last season Man Utd beat Blackburn 3 times in all competitions, so
it's no surprise they're just 1/6 (1.16) to win again on Saturday
evening.

Corners

Man Utd and Blackburn match-up well on the Corners stats...

·         Man Utd have won the Most Corners in 5 out of 5 home games so
far - and in 80% of games overall

·         Blackburn have been 'out-cornered' in 3 out of 4 away games

The Head-2-Head data on our website shows Man Utd are winning on
average over 9 corners more than opponents at Old Trafford (+9.6
Corners Margin). While Blackburn's away figure is -2.3.

The key stats here are both teams' Corners For figures...

Man Utd have won at least 11 corners in 4 out of 5 home games.
Those are very high Corners For stats - no wonder every game at Old
Trafford has gone Over 10.5 Total Corners so far.

Blackburn's figures are completely the opposite. They have won 2 or
less Corners
in 3 of their 4 away games. That includes just 1
corner away at Arsenal and no corners at all at Chelsea last
weekend. As a result, all 4 Blackburn away games have gone Under
10.5 Total Corners.

United have got above-average corners figures, and the bookies will
likely give them a bigger than average Corner Handicap to beat -
but the stats say they can do it.

·         The bookies haven't put up their Corner Handicap odds for
this game yet. But it's live on TV so William Hill, Bet365, Paddy
Power, Skybet, Stan James, Betfred and Expekt will all have markets
up over the weekend.

·         I'll email you later today with an update on the best prices
available.

Bolton v Chelsea

Sat 31st Oct, 3pm
Ref: P.Walton

Chelsea beat Bolton 4-0 at Stamford Bridge in the Carling Cup on
Wednesday night, and did the double over Wanderers in the league
last season. The Blues are odds-on at just 4/9 (1.44) for another
win this weekend.

Better value can be found in the Corners markets...

·         Bolton have only won the Most Corners in 1 game so far this
season - and in none of their home games

·         Chelsea have won the Most Corners in 90% of games - and by a
margin of at least 3 corners each time

On average, Bolton are conceding over 2 corners more than they win
at the Reebok Stadium. And Chelsea are winning over 6 corners per
away game more than their opponents.

This game isn't live on TV but Corner Handicap bets on Chelsea will
be available with William Hill and Bet365.

  • I'll email you later today with an update on the best prices
    available.

Everton v Aston Villa

Sat 31st Oct, 3pm
Ref: L.Probert

Backing the away team in the Cards and Bookings markets looks the
way to go here...

·         Everton have only got the Most Booking Points in 1 of their 9
games so far - and have a low home average of just 6 Booking Points
For
(compared to a high 33 Pts Against).

·         An Everton player has only got the First Card in 2 from 9
games.

·         Villa have got the Most Booking Points in 2 out of 4 away
games and the First Card in 75%.

·         A Villa player has been first in the Referee's book in 7 out
of 9 games
overall this season.

This game isn't live on TV so bets on those markets won't be widely
available. However, William Hill have started to offer First Card
and Most Booking Points bets for all Premier League games recently
- so look for bets there, and back Villa.

Most Booking Points is the 'safer' option as your bet will cover
the entire game.

  • I'll email you later today with an update on the best prices
    available.

Fulham v Liverpool

Sat 31st Oct, 3pm
Ref: L.Mason

There's a good opportunity to cash-in on the Booking Points stats
here...

·         Fulham home Booking Points = 15.0 For and 5.0 Against

·         Liverpool away Booking Points = 18.0 For and 29.0 Against

Those averages show 10 pts more for the home team - Fulham to get
at least 1 yellow card more than Liverpool.

·         Fulham's opponents have only got the Most Booking Points in 1
out of 9 games this season - and opponents have only been shown the
First Card in 2 games

·         A Liverpool player has only been shown the First Card in 1 of
their 10 games. And the Reds have only got the Most Booking Points
in 10% of games, too.

The stats highlight a Booking Points bet on Fulham. First Card and
Most Booking Points bets are offer at William Hill - with the
safest option (and the bigger price) being the 'Most Bookings' as
it covers the entire game.

FBD says:

70% of your stake on:

  • Fulham to get the 'Most Booking Points' @ 7/5 (2.40) with
    William Hill

And the other 30% of your stake on:

  • 'Most Booking Points -Tie' @ 12/5 (3.40) with William Hill

If you stake your bets as suggested you'll make a profit if Fulham
get the Most Booking Points, and get 100% of your stake back if
both teams get the same amount of points.

William Hill site and click on the 'Card Markets' section...

Booking Points explained:

Yellow Card = 10 pts
Red Card = 25 pts
Most a player can get in one game (eg. 2 yellows resulting in a
red) = 35 pts.

The Goal Machine - Cash-in on the stats with a 3/1 Treble

There look to be some excellent match-ups for Over 2.5 Goals bets
this weekend - a Treble on the 3 games below pays more than 3/1.

'Over' bets are paying in 67% of Bolton games and 80% of Chelsea
games, with both teams' games averaging over 3 total goals... 80%
of Man Utd home games and 100% of Blackburn away games have gone
Over 2.5 Goals this season... and that bet has also paid out in
100% of Arsenal home games and 100% of Tottenham away games.

Bolton v Chelsea

Over 2.5 Goals

Man Utd v Blackburn

  • A Treble on those games to all go Over 2.5 Goals pays over
