Spurs hit 9 past Wigan, last week's results - and this week's games

Monday 23rd November 2009.

In your Football Betting Data bulletin today:

  • Mixed results at the weekend
  • Spurs hit 9 past Wigan...
  • New stats markets provide winning bets...
  • 2 games on Wednesday night...

Tottenham Hotspur stole the Premier League headlines this weekend
with a thumping 9-1 win over Wigan on Sunday...

That's the biggest win in the Premier League since Man Utd beat
Ipswich 9-0 back in 1995. Spurs had 14 shots on target - and 9 of
them ended up in the back of the net.

Last week's results

We had a mixed bag of results from our recommended bets in Friday's
email - 9 selections and 4 winners. Following those selections to
level stakes you'd have made a small loss.

A couple of the season's most reliable trends stalled - with both
Man City (Total Corners) and Arsenal's (Total Goals) 91% records
failing to do the business. Arsenal also failed to score for the
first time all season.

However there are stacks of strong trends on show throughout the
Premier League - and 12 more games to look at this week alone.

  • You're next FBD email will be on Wednesday, with a look at
Hull v Everton and Fulham v Blackburn - plus Part Two of my
exclusive free report on football spread betting markets.

Liverpool 2 Man City 2

Total Corners = 10.
Team Corners = Liverpool 7 Man City 3.

FBD said:

  • Over 10.5 Corners @ 8/13 - LOST
  • Liverpool Total Corners Over 6 @ 3/4 - WON

Just 1 corner kick away from both bets winning here. There were just
2 corners in a sluggish first half that was broken up by 3 long
injury delays. The final corner count was 10 - with Liverpool
winning 7 of them.

Man City have now drawn 6 games in a row - the Premier League record
is 7.

Man Utd 3 Everton 0

FBD said:

  • Winning Margin - 'Man Utd to win by 1 goal' @ 13/5 - LOST

Man Utd won comfortably by a 3-goal margin - their biggest home win
of the season so far.

Bolton 0 Blackburn 2

FBD said:

  • 'Over 2.5 Goals' @ Evens - LOST

Both teams have 'high Goals' records this season - but there were
just 2 in this one (including one of the 'best' Own Goals I've seen
for a while).

That was the only away win in the Premier League this weekend and
Blackburn's first away points of the season. Bolton have conceded in
all of their 12 games so far - they are the only team in the Premier
League yet to keep a 'Clean Sheet.'

Chelsea 4 Wolves 0

FBD said:

  • 'Chelsea To Win To Nil' @ 10/11 - WON

Chelsea kept up their 100% home record - played 7 won 7, scored 20
conceded 1. Bets on Chelsea To Win To Nil have paid out a winner in
6 out of 7 games at Stamford Bridge.

Sunderland 1 Arsenal 0

Team Corners: Sunderland 2 Arsenal 6.

FBD said:

  • 'Over 2.5 Goals' @ 4/6 - LOST
  • 'Arsenal to win' @ 4/6 - LOST
  • 'Arsenal -1 Corner Handicap' @ 3/4 - WON

Sunderland are up to 8th in the table after another big result
against one of the top teams. They lost to Chelsea but they've
beaten both Liverpool and Arsenal, and drawn at Man Utd.

Arsenal's corner stats remained true to form, they won 4 corners
more than Sunderland.

Burnley 1 Aston Villa 1

First Card = R.Dunne, 18 minutes, Villa.
Team Booking Points = Burnley 0 Villa 30.

FBD said:

  • Aston Villa to get the 'Most Booking Points' @ 15/8 - WON

Villa got all 3 yellow cards in this game. Burnley's home Booking
Points For average at home is now just 8.6 pts - that's less than 1
yellow card per home game.

New stats markets provide winning bets...

I highlighted 2 'stats bets' that were only available with William
Hill

Points - and both won.

most reliable bets and trends. And with William Hill offering 179
