Profit from Goals, Corners and Booking Points
this weekend

Friday 27th November 2009.

In your Football Betting Data bulletin today:

  • Wednesday's winners...
  • 3 games live on TV...
  • Bets for the weekend...

There were 2 Premier League games earlier in the week, with Hull
beating Everton 3-2 and Fulham winning 3-0 against Blackburn. We had
2 winning bets from the stats...

Wednesday's winners

Fulham 3 Blackburn 0

Total Corners = 6.
Total Cards / Booking Points = 0 (zero).

FBD said:

  • 'Under 10.5 Corners' @ 21/20 or 'Under 11 Corners' @ Evens -
    WON

  • 'Asian Total Cards - Under 3.5' @ 3/4 - WON

Fulham and Blackburn won just 3 corners each, and Referee Stuart
Attwell kept his cards in his pocket for the whole 90 minutes. Those
2 'Under' bets have both paid out a winner in 6 out of 7 Blackburn
away games - trends to keep an eye on.

3 games live on TV...

There's a full schedule of 10 Premier League games this weekend. You

After Tottenham scored 9 goals against Wigan last week we'd better
look at the Goals stats here...

100% of Spurs' away games have paid out on Over 2.5 Goals bets so
far, 6 games out of 6. And 11 of their 13 Premier League games
overall have gone 'Over' (85%).

However, Villa aren't an obvious match-up for a 'high goals' bet as
4 of their 6 home games have actually gone Under 2.5 Goals. As have
62% of games overall.

The stats do highlight a bet in a different Total Goals market
though...

  • There have been 2 or 3 Goals scored in 5 out of 6 games at
    Villa Park

  • Bets on '2-3 Goals' have paid out in 77% of all Villa's games
    this season

  • Bets on '2-3 Goals' have paid out in 4 out of 6 Tottenham away
    games

  • There were exactly 3 goals in both games between Villa and
Spurs last season (2-1 to the away team each time). In fact, there
have been 2-3 Goals in 5 of the last 6 meetings between the clubs

It's also worth noting that both teams' most common score-lines fall
in to the '2-3 Goals' bracket.

Villa's most common score-line this season has been the 1-1 draw (4
times). That 'Correct Score' is 6/1 with the bookies this weekend.

Tottenham have won 4 games by a 2-1 score-line so far. And last
season the 2-1 score-line (win or lose) came up 12 times in Spurs
games - no other 'Correct Score' result came up more often for any
other team in the Premier League.

Last season 2-1 (win or lose) was also the most common Villa score-
line (7 times). This weekend Villa are 9/1 to win 2-1 and Spurs are
10/1.

Total Goals '2-3' covers all those score-lines and more, and can be
backed at Evens.

FBD says:

  • '2-3 Goals' @ Evens (2.00) with Ladbrokes, Paddy Power, Stan James and Expekt

Corners

Both teams' stats also match-up well on the Corners...

  • 67% of Villa home games have been Over 10.5 Corners - with an
    average total of 11.8 corners

  • 67% of Tottenham away games have also been Over 10.5 Corners -
with an average total of 12.3

Bets on Over 10.5 Corners have paid out a winner in the majority of
both teams' Premier League games overall this season - 69% for Villa
and 53% Spurs.

Villa were one of the most consistent 'high corners' teams last
season
with 73% of all games going 'Over.' And over half of all
Spurs games went Over 10.5 too, including both games against
Villa...

  • There were 14 corners in the 2008/9 game at Villa Park and 20
in the game at White Hart Lane

Last weekend there were 14 corners in Villa's game at Burnley and 15
corners in Tottenham's win over Wigan.

FBD says:

  • 'Over 10.5 Corners' @ 11/20 (1.55) with Expekt or 1/2
    (1.50) Extrabet

This bet wins if there are 11 or more corners in the game.

Also check with Stan James and Expekt for Over 10.5 Corners bets.
Other bookies offer bigger odds for higher lines such as Over 12
Corners.

Blackburn v Stoke

Sat 28th Nov, 3pm
Ref: H.Webb

The Corners stats clearly point to a bet on the home team here...

  • Blackburn have won the Most Corners in 100% of games at Ewood
    Park - 6 games out of 6

  • Stoke have failed to win the Most Corners in 5 out of 6 away
    games so far

Our Head-2-Head data shows Blackburn at home are averaging 2
corners+ more
than opponents (+2.2 Corners margin). While Stoke's
figure is the opposite - they are conceding at least 2 corners more
than they win per away game (-2.8 margin).

In their last home game Blackburn won the corner count 8-5 (v
Portsmouth). And in Stoke's last away game they were 'out-cornered'
4-2 by Hull. In both those games bets on the home team with a '-1
Corner Handicap'
would've paid out a winner.

FBD says:

  • Blackburn '-1 Corner Handicap' @ 17/20 (1.85) with William
    Hill

This bet wins if Blackburn win at least 2 corners more than Stoke.

Fulham v Bolton

Sat 28th Nov, 3pm
Ref: S.Bennett

Fulham are 10th in the Premier League table with 18 points. Bolton
have played a game less and are down in 18th place with 11 points.

The Premier League's 'Form Guide' table makes a bigger gap between
the clubs - with Fulham up in 4th place and Bolton in 19th, based on
the last 6 games.

Last season Fulham beat Bolton 2-1 at home and 3-1 away...

Fulham have won their last 3 games in a row at Craven Cottage, while
Bolton are on a run of 3 consecutive Premier League defeats. The
home win is 10/11.

FBD says:

  • Fulham to beat Bolton @ 10/11 (1.91) with William Hill, Coral, Betfred, Blue Square, 888 Sport, Boylesports, Totesport and Bet365

Wolves v Birmingham

Sun 29th Nov, 12pm
Ref: M.Clattenburg

Last week I mentioned some of the 'stats markets' being offered by
William Hill - they have 179 bets available for all the weekend's
Premier League games including stacks of Goals, Corners, Cards and
Booking Points options.

The stats for this game point to 3 bets that are only likely to be
available with William Hill this weekend...

  • Wolves have won the Most Corners in 4 out of 6 home games -
their Corner averages are 6.3 For and 4.0 Against

  • Birmingham have been 'out-cornered' in 100% of away games and
have only won the Most Corners in 2 out of 13 games all season.

  • Birmingham Away Corner averages = 3.5 For and 9.3 Against

Wolves at home are averaging 2+ corners more than opponents. While
bets on the home team to win the 'Most Corners' and with a '-1
Corner Handicap'
would've paid out a winner in 6 out of 6 Birmingham
away games so far. Those same bets are available this weekend.

FBD says:

  • 'Team With Most Corners - Wolves' @ 4/6 (1.67) with William
    Hill

Bet Now!
You'll find this Team With Most Corners bet in the Corner Markets
section for the Wolves v Birmingham game on the William Hill
website. Go straight to that page here...

Also available - check for Wolves Corner Handicap bets with Bet365
and Skybet.

Cards and Booking Points

  • Wolves home Booking Points averages = 6.7 For and 16.7 Against

  • Birmingham away Booking Points averages = 20.0 For and 8.3
    Against

Wolves haven't received the First Card in any of their 6 games at
Molineaux, and they've only got the Most Booking Points once.

Birmingham on the other hand have picked up the First Card in 100%
of away games and have got the Most Booking Points in 4 games out of
6.

FBD says:

  • Birmingham to receive the 'First Card' @ 8/13 (1.62) with
    William Hill

And

  • Birmingham to get the 'Most Booking Points' @ 7/10 (1.70) with William Hill

Wolves v Birmingham game on the William Hill website. Go straight to

West Ham v Burnley

Sat 28th Nov, 3pm
Ref: C.Foy

The stats say we can expect goals in this one...

West Ham haven't kept a 'clean sheet' in any of their 6 home games
so far. And Burnley have conceded at least at 2 goals in all 6 of
their away games.

  • Bets on Over 2.5 Goals have paid out a winner in 100% of games
at Upton Park, and in 77% of games overall

  • 83% of Burnley away games have also been Over 2.5 Goals

Both teams' games are averaging over 3 goals - West Ham's home
figure is 3.7 Total Goals and the total for Burnley away games is
4.1.

There were 3 goals in West Ham's most recent home game and 6 goals
in Burnley's last away game.

FBD says:

  • 'Over 2.5 Goals' @ 5/6 (1.83) with Skybet or 4/5 (1.80) in
    general

Going for Goals...

There are 2 other games that stand out on the Over 2.5 Goals stats
this weekend...

Man City v Hull

Bets on Over 2.5 Goals have paid out in 80% of City's home games
this season, with games averaging a high 4.2 Total Goals. Hull away
games are averaging 3.2 goals - and their last 3 Premier League
games have all gone 'Over.'

  • 'Over 2.5 Goals' is 8/15 (1.53) with Skybet, Blue Square and
    888 Sport.

Arsenal v Chelsea

100% of Arsenal home games have gone 'Over' so far, and so have 5
out of 6
Chelsea away games. The majority of both teams' Premier
League games are going Over 2.5 Goals - 83% for Arsenal and 77% for
Chelsea. Games between the 'Big Four' clubs are often tight affairs
- but both games between Arsenal and Chelsea went Over 2.5 Goals
last season.

  • 'Over 2.5 Goals' is Evens (2.00) with Blue Square, 888 Sport
    and Expekt

Boost your profits with Doubles and Trebles...

You can mix and match this weekend's selections in multiple bets -
with some big payouts on offer if all your picks win.

For example, all the top bookies offer Over 2.5 Goals bets, and you
can combine them in Doubles and Trebles...

  • Man City v Hull and Arsenal v Chelsea - Double pays 2/1 with
    Blue Square.

  • Man City v Hull and West Ham v Burnley - Double pays 9/5 with
    Skybet.

  • Arsenal v Chelsea and West Ham v Burnley - Double pays 13/5
    with Blue Square.

  • A Treble on all 3 games to go Over 2.5 Goals pays 9/2 (5.50)
    with Blue Square.
