Last week's winners, 100% trends - and Jimmy Bullard!

Tuesday 1st December 2009.

In your Football Betting Data update today:

  • Bullard plays boss...
  • 100% trends continue...
  • 7 out of 10 winners last week...
  • A full house of Corner bets...
  • This week's games...

Chelsea are 5 points clear at the top of the Premier League after
winning 3-0 away at Arsenal at the weekend. That was the first time
the Gunners have failed to win at the Emirates Stadium in all
competitions this season.

Man City equalled the Premier League record for 'most drawn games in
a row' with a 1-1 draw against Hull on Saturday. City have now drawn
7 games in a row
. Next up for them - Chelsea at home.

Bullard plays boss...

That Man City v Hull game also made headlines for Jimmy Bullard's
goal celebration - the Hull midfielder scored an 82nd-minute penalty
to earn his team a draw...

The Hull players then produced one of the 'set pieces' of the
season. They sat in a circle in front of their travelling fans with
Bullard stood up, wagging the finger at his team in a 'tribute' to
boss Phil Brown's furious half-time team talk on the pitch in the
same fixture last season!

Phil Brown is the bookies' 6/4 favourite to be the next Premier
League manager to get the sack - but as yet there's no price on
Bullard replacing him as the next Hull manager.

Back to the stats...

100% trends continue

Last week was a good week 'on the stats' with 100% records paying
out once again on the likes of West Ham, Blackburn, Birmingham and
Arsenal. Check out these trends...

  • Bets on 'Over 2.5 Goals' have paid out in 7 out of 7 West Ham
    home games.

  • Blackburn have won the 'Most Corners' in 7 out of 7 home
    games.

  • In 7 out of 7 Birmingham away games, their opponent has won
    the 'Most Corners.'

  • And 'Over 2.5 Goals' bets have paid out a winner in 7 out of 7
    Arsenal home games.

Bets highlighted in the emails I sent you last week landed winning
bets from all those trends and more. It was a busy week with 12
games and 10 recommended bets in all. Here's the full list of our
results...

7 out of 10 winners last week

On Wednesday night the stats highlighted 2 winning bets at Fulham...

Fulham 3 Blackburn 0

FBD said:

  • 'Under 10.5 Corners' @ 21/20 or 'Under 11 Corners' @ Evens -
    WON

  • 'Asian Total Cards - Under 3.5' @ 3/4 - WON

There were just 6 corners in the game - and no cards shown.

Then at the weekend we had 5 more correct selections...

Aston Villa 1 Tottenham Hotspur 1

FBD said:

  • '2-3 Goals' @ Evens - WON

  • 'Over 10.5 Corners' @ 11/20 - WON

Tottenham may have scored 9 goals the week before but the stats for
this one showed the majority of both team's games were falling in to
the '2-3 Goals' bracket.

Villa have now had 5 draws with a 1-1 score-line - that 'Correct
Score' paid out at 6/1 on Saturday.

There were also 16 corners in the game, landing all 'Over' bets
available at the bookies.

Blackburn Rovers 0 Stoke City 0

FBD said:

  • Blackburn '-1 Corner Handicap' @ 17/20 - WON

Blackburn won 9 corners with Stoke getting just 2. Rovers have won
the Most Corners in 100% of games at Ewood Park and Stoke have
failed to win the Most Corners in 6 out of 7 away games.

Fulham 1 Bolton 1

FBD said:

  • Fulham to beat Bolton @ 10/11 - LOST

Fulham's run of 3 home wins in a row came to an end against 18th
placed Bolton here.

Wolves 0 Birmingham 1

FBD said:

  • 'Team With The Most Corners - Wolves' @ 4/6 - WON

  • Birmingham to receive the 'First Card' @ 8/13 - LOST

  • Birmingham to get the 'Most Booking Points' @ 7/10 - LOST

Wolves picked up 2 yellow cards (20 pts), including the First Card.
Birmingham received just 1 yellow card (10 pts). Before this game
the Blues had got the First Card in every away game.

Birmingham kept up their 100% corners record though - they've been
'out-cornered' in 7 out of 7 away games. Wolves 6 corners,
Birmingham 5 corners.

West Ham 5 Burnley 3

FBD said:

  • 'Over 2.5 Goals' @ 5/6 or 4/5 - WON

Every West Ham home game and 6 out of 7 Burnley away games have paid
out on this 'Over' bet now. We needed at least 3 goals - and we got
8. In fact, this one was settled by half time.

Just 1 more goal...

In Friday's email I also mentioned some Double and Treble options
for 3 games to go 'Over 2.5 Goals' at the weekend.

If you followed these you would've landed a 12/5 winning double on
West Ham v Burnley (score 5-3) and Arsenal v Chelsea (0-3).

And 1 more goal between Man City and Hull (1-1) would have resulted
in 3 winning doubles and a 9/2 treble. A near miss - Hull had a shot
hooked off the line in the 2nd half with the 'keeper beaten.

A full house of Corner bets...

Last week we had 4 'Corners' bets - 2 on Total Corners and 2 on Team
Corners - and all of them won. Corners trends are some of the most
reliable in the Premier League, and often come good even when the
match result produces a shock win, defeat or draw...

For example earlier in the season league leaders Chelsea were odds-
on to win at Aston Villa - but lost 2-1. But the Football Betting
Data stats highlighted 2 winning Corners bets on 'Over 10.5 Corners'
and Chelsea '-1 Corner Handicap.'

You can check up on the latest Corners stats - as well as Goals,
Booking Points and Scorers
- on our website. And I'll be
highlighting the top trends to follow in all markets and for all
teams throughout the season...

This week's games...

All the Premier League teams are in action again this weekend, with
8 games on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. The 3 live TV games are:

Portsmouth v Burnley - Saturday
Man City v Chelsea - Saturday
Everton v Tottenham - Sunday

Also - the Carling Cup Quarter Finals are made up entirely of
Premier League teams and those 4 games take place tonight and
Wednesday. Man Utd v Tottenham and Man City v Arsenal are both live
on Sky Sports 2. Watch out for manager's chopping and changing their
usual starting 11's for those Cup games.

I'll be back on Friday with the standout stats and bets for the
weekend...

Best wishes,

Matt Nesbitt
