Chelsea and Man United joint favourites
The race for the Premier League title took another turn on Saturday
when Chelsea were beaten 4-2 by Manchester City. The gap between
Chelsea and Manchester United is now down to a single point. Only a
week ago Chelsea were 1/2 shots to win the title their now 6/4, the
same as United.
Arsenal also took full advantage of Chelsea's slip by cutting the
points difference between themselves and the leaders to just 3,
after a 3-1 victory at Stoke. The Gunners odds have been slashed in
half by the bookies - they are now 11/4 for the title from 13/2.

All the pre-game talk was about whether John Terry and Wayne Bridge
would been seen shaking hands in the pre-game (fair play) hand
shake - the answer was no, landing backers a 15/8 pay-out.
The afternoon didn't pan out well for Terry and his team mates as
they suffered their 1st home Premier League defeat of the season.
To make matters worse they had two players sent off. The last time
Chelsea lost at home in the Premier League was back in November
2008 when Arsenal beat them 2-1.
It wasn't good news for us in the corner department either - with
only 5 corners in match.

Portsmouth picked up their 5th win of the season against Burnley on
Saturday. It's only their 2nd away win of the season.
William Hill didn't offer a market on which team would get the Most
Booking Points. But like the stats suggested it was indeed
Portsmouth that received the Most Booking Points in the match - 45
to Burnley's 10. Portsmouth getting the Most Booking Points would
have paid out in 64% (9/14) of their away games this season.
Birmingham 1 Wigan 0

The First and only Goal of Saturday's game came in the 47th minute
when James McFadden converted a penalty for the home side. Bets on
the First Goal being scored After 27th Minute have paid out in 11
of Birmingham's 14 home games this season.

The stalemate at the Stadium of Light means that Sunderland winless
run now stands at 14 games. Bets on Under 2.5 Goals have now paid
out in Sunderland's last 6 Premier League games in a row. 4 of
Fulham's last 6 games have also gone Under 2.5 Goals. The stats
also highlighted the 0-0 correct score at 8/1 in Friday's email.
Liverpool 2 Blackburn 1
Corners = Liverpool 4 Blackburn 5.

Liverpool were beaten on the corner count for only the 3rd time at
home this season with Blackburn winning 5 corners compared to
Liverpool's 4. It's only the 4th time in 14 games that Blackburn
have won the Most Corners.
