Weekend results - 3 winners and Tevez scores again
Monday 12th April 2010
In Football Betting Data today:
- 3 goalless draws at the weekend...
- 3 out of 4 winning bets...
- Tevez scores again...
- Cash-in on the midweek games...
There was a shortage of goals in the Premier League this weekend - with
3 of the 6 games ending in 0-0 draws...
Man Utd's goalless draw at Blackburn means they're now a point behind
Chelsea in the title race, having played a game more. Chelsea have been
cut to short-odds on favourites in the Outright Winner market at just
3/10. Man Utd and Arsenal are 6/1. Chelsea will go 4 points clear if
they beat Bolton tomorrow night.
Weekend winners...
Due to the FA Cup semi finals, there was less Premier League action
than usual at the weekend. However the stats came good for us, with 3
out of 4 winning bets on Sunday afternoon...
Wolves 0 Stoke 0
- FBD said: Under 2.5 Goals @ 4/6 - WON
No goals in this one - meaning Wolves' last 2 home games have been 0-0
draws and their last 7 home games have all paid out on Under 2.5 Goals
bets. The same bet has also now paid out in 5 of the last 6 Stoke away
games.
Blackburn 0 Man Utd
Corners = Blackburn 1 Man Utd 7.
- FBD said: Man Utd -2 Corner Handicap @ 19/20 - WON
Man Utd were odds-on to beat Blackburn on Sunday, but the stats said
the best bet was on the 'Corners.' United won 6 corners more than
Blackburn, and have now won the Most Corners in 76% of away games and
79% of all Premier League games this season.
Liverpool 0 Fulham 0
- FBD said: Liverpool (-1.5) Asian Handicap @ 10/11 - LOST
Yet another 0-0 draw here. Liverpool had won their last 8 home league
games in a row, and beat Benfica 4-1 at Anfield on Thursday night.
Fulham have now failed to score in their last 7 away games.
Man City 5 Birmingham 1
Corners = Man City 8 Birmingham 4.
- FBD said: Man City -2 Corner Handicap @ 3/4 - WON
Man City kept up their challenge for 4th place in the league - and kept
up their impressive home corner winning record, too. They've now won
the Most Corners in 76% of games at the City of Manchester Stadium,
including 5 of their last 6 home games.
Tevez scores again
The goals are flying in for Man City right now. They've won their last
3 games, 3-0, 6-1 and 5-1...
Carlos Tevez scored again for City on Sunday. He's now got 22 goals in
his last 21 games.
- In Friday's email I highlighted Tevez at 5/6 to Score Anytime v Birmingham
and 10/3 to be the First Goalscorer - he
opening the scoring in the 38th
minute, landing both bets.
Cash-in on the midweek games...
Chelsea play Bolton (live on ESPN, 8pm) tomorrow night , followed by 3
games on Wednesday night including the big North London derby between
Tottenham and Arsenal...
