After 3 out of 4 games were goalless draws on Sunday, bookies are
betting on the Total Number of Goals in the midweek games. Victor
Chandler make it 2/1 for 'Fewer Than 10 Total Goals.'

The goals stats certainly point to a low-scoring game at Wigan (see
below), but Chelsea have been scoring for fun lately - and anything can
happen in the North London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal...

Wigan v Portsmouth

Portsmouth are already relegated but have the FA Cup final to look
forward to next month. Wigan are odds-on to win at 8/13, but it's worth
noting they've only won 5 out of 16 home games so far (only Wolves and
Portsmouth have won less at home).

• Stats fact:
  4 of Wigan's 5 home wins have been by a 1-0 score-line.
  The 1-0 Wigan 'Correct Score' is 6/1

The Total Goals and Goal Time stats highlight the best bets in this
game...

• Wigan home First Goal Time average = 41 mins
  
  
• Portsmouth away First Goal Time average = 37 mins

Earlier this season Portsmouth beat Wigan 4-0 at Fratton Park, with the
First Goal scored in the 35th minute.

There has only been a goal scored Before 27th minute in 3 of the last 10
Wigan games. And there hasn't been a goal scored in the first 30 mins
of play in their last 3 games.

Wigan's last home game was 0-0 until the 93rd minute - when they
snatched a 1-0 win over Burnley with an injury time winner. Portsmouth
beat Tottenham 2-0 in Extra Time in the FA Cup semi final at Wembley -
that game was goalless in normal time.

Wigan have only scored 5 goals in their last 10 games. Portsmouth have
only scored 5 goals in their last 10 away games. Bets on Under 2.5

Tottenham v Arsenal

Anything could happen in the North London derby. Last season this
fixture ended 0-0, but in the past couple of seasons we've had a 4-4
draw, a 5-1 win for Spurs in the Carling Cup and a 3-0 home win for
Arsenal in the league.

You might expect the tackles to be flying in a derby match - Over 4.5
Cards is 11/10 with Bet365 - but there were just 2 yellow cards in the
game at the Emirates earlier this season.

The game is live on Sky Sports on Wednesday night - I'll be watching it
for sure - but the stats don't suggest a bet this time.

Aston Villa v Everton

Aston Villa are 7th in the table and Everton are 8th - and these sides
are two of the Premier League's 'draw' specialists...

Villa have drawn 12 games this season and Everton have drawn 11. Only
Man City (11), Sunderland (11) and Stoke (13 draw) can match or better
those records.

If you'd backed the Draw in both teams' recent games, you'd be well in
profit:

• Villa have drawn 7 of their last 12 Premier League games. At odds of
  12/5 for the Draw, if you'd placed 12 bets at £10 each you'd be £118 up

These two played out a 1-1 draw at Everton earlier in the season. The
