Latest transfer news...
Now the World Cup has finished the transfer merry-go-round is now
in full swing. Managers will be looking to strengthen their squads
with the new Premier League season just 22 days away.
Skybet have priced up a number of 'Transfer Specials' - with all of
the following players odds-on to move clubs during the summer
transfer window...
If we're talking about transfers there is no better place to start
than at Man City who have been linked with just about every top
player this summer. Aston Villa midfielder James Milner is
currently 1/10 to join Man City. He could be playing alongside
Italian forward Mario Balotteli who's 1/20 to make the move from
Inter Milan to the City of Manchester Stadium.
According to the price on offer at Skybet it seems that Chelsea
full back Ashley Cole will be linking up with his old manager Jose
Mourinho at Real Madrid next season. Cole is 1/7 to be playing his
football in the Spanish Capital come the end of the current
transfer window.
Two other players are odds-on to be joining their previous managers
over the summer. Liverpool's Argentine midfielder Javier Mascherano
is 1/4 to follow old manager Rafa Benitez to Inter Milan while
Fulham's Brede Hangeland is 4/5 to join his old boss Roy Hodgson at
Liverpool.
Tottenham's Robbie Keane looks like he's on the move again. He's
2/3 to join Aston Villa. His place at Tottenham could be filled by
Craig Bellamy (Man City) who's 1/6 to make a move to White Hart Lane.
And finally Portsmouth's David James is 1/3 to be making a move to
the North East to join Sunderland.

Premier League market watch...
Over the past few weeks the bookies have been pricing up a number
of season-long bets for the new Premier League season.
The usual markets are available already like the 'Premier League
Winner', who will finish in the 'Top 4', who will be 'Relegated'
and who will 'Stay Up'. You can also back who you think will finish
as the Premier League 'Top Scorer'.
Premier League Handicap market
Blue Square, 888Sport, Ladbrokes and Stan James have all price up
their 'Premier League Season Handicap' market for the new season.
Each team is given a handicap which is added on to their final
points tally at the end of the season. You can get attractive odds
of between 14/1 and 16/1 on each team - you can bet each way, too,
for the 1-4 places at a quarter of the odds.
For example: Premier League champions Chelsea have been given a
scratch handicap (zero points) while newly promoted Blackpool have
been given the largest at +54 points.
